Founder and CEO

Joel Roberts serves as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Roberts Builders Group. He brings more than a decade of experience in the construction industry, with a diverse portfolio of projects spanning water and wastewater treatment plants, commercial facilities, single-family and multifamily residential properties, senior living and assisted living communities, and marinas. His expertise lies in full-cycle construction management and development execution, with a strong foundation in both technical engineering and hands-on project delivery. With a proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple asset classes, Joel provides leadership that emphasizes precision, efficiency, and long-term value creation for project stakeholders. Prior to establishing Roberts Builders Group, Mr. Roberts served as Project Executive at Bonaventure Development, where he directed the construction of eight new ground-up multifamily and senior living communities as part of the in-house general contracting team. In this role, he oversaw all phases of project delivery, from preconstruction through closeout, while coordinating with developers, consultants, and ownership groups. He began his career with Balfour Beatty Construction, where he worked on several large-scale infrastructure and commercial projects. This early experience provided a strong foundation in complex construction management and set the stage for his transition into multifamily and mixed-use development. Mr. Roberts holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland.
